This Xmas, be loud and bold
Today, we are very happy to share something we have been working on for a long time. After months of designing, imagining, rethinking and creating, our Xmas catalogue is finally here. At its heart is our highly anticipated 2026 Advent Calendar, accompanied by two new sets of ornaments — a collection born from one of the most beautiful creative processes we have experienced and one we have been eagerly waiting to share with you.
Just like every year, we wanted to create something that could accompany the journey towards Xmas rather than simply count down the days until it arrives. We often move quickly towards the things we are waiting for, forgetting that so much of their meaning lives in everything that happens before. Above all, the moments that we share along the way are often what remain with us long after the celebration itself has passed.
Our Advent Calendar was born from this idea. We imagined it as an open space for curiosity and creativity, where every day could offer a new possibility without determining where it should lead. A space with no right way to play, create or imagine. A space to follow your own ideas, change your mind, try something unexpected — and perhaps be a little louder and bolder along the way.
Inside, you will find 24 invitations: to play, to craft, to think, to talk, to feel and simply to be. One for each day of Advent. But this is your calendar, and you have every right to make it your own. Colour the booklet or the boxes, add your own notes, start reading from the back, skip a day, repeat a favourite invitation or share one with a friend. You can follow the invitations exactly as they are, or take them somewhere completely different. There are no rules here — unless you decide to make them. Because making your own rules is part of being loud and bold. It is knowing that your choices matter, that your voice matters and that you do not always have to do things the way they have always been done. We have the right to be children today, not tomorrow. The right to say no when something does not feel right. The right to be quiet, shy, loud, strange, curious, messy or completely ourselves — and still belong!
This is our Manifesto for this year, signed by every small voice in the world that dares to be loud, messy and freely themselves. A reminder that childhood does not need to be tidied up, quietened down or made to fit. It deserves space to be exactly what it is: full of opinions, contradictions, big feelings, strange ideas, beautiful messes and endless possibilities.
Children already know something we adults sometimes forget: life is not a race. It is a journey, and there is no single way to travel through it. Sometimes the best thing we can do is have no plans at all and simply be. To follow a thought wherever it takes us, spend an afternoon making something just because it feels good, or turn a quiet moment into an unexpected adventure. This is the kind of freedom we want to make space for during Advent.
We can’t wait to be loud and bold together, to celebrate childhood, to invent new rules and break some of them. December is a magical time to do just that: to make, play, decorate, imagine, talk, laugh and fill the days with little moments that might become the memories we carry with us. Let’s fill these December days with a bit of crafting, a few sparkles and plenty of room for whatever comes next. Let’s unwrap these little treasures day by day, play with them, make them our own and celebrate every single day as if Xmas had already arrived. Because life is beautiful, and every single day of childhood deserves to be filled with moments worth remembering.
This Xmas, be loud and bold. Make your own rules. Follow your own path. Be exactly who you are!
With love,
Your Grapat Family · ·
